Attractions
Robben Island - Robben Island is best known as the place where Nelson
Mandela was incarcerated for 18 of his 27 years as a political
prisoner. Daily tours are led by former inmates.
Table Mountain
Iconic landmark of this fabulous city. If the views from Derwent arent
enough, you can travel up by cable car and marvel at the vista.
Cape Point The
tail of the Table Mountain range, it juts dramatically into the sea from
the Nature Reserve. Take time to explore the flora and fauna and the
beaches in the area.
V&A Waterfront
A
great development of the historic docklands, the Waterfront offers over
400 shops as well as bars, restaurants, craft markets, the Aquarium,
buskers and continually changing attractions in addition to boat rides
out into Table Bay.
Winelands
Wander through beautiful countryside stopping only to taste South
Africas delectable wine. Constantia is the most local, or take a day
and visit breathtaking Franschhoek, Paarl and the university town of
Stellenbosch.
Beaches
There are beaches to suit every mood. Social Camps Bay
is a must and a great place to watch the sun set. But dont miss
beautiful Llandudno, the huge wild stretch of Noordhoek or the chance to
swim with penguins at Boulders Beach in Simons Town.
Nightlife
Just
a stones throw from Derwent House lies the ever trendy Kloof St with
its collection of bars and restaurants. Follow it down to Long Street,
heart of the hip and happening in the city. Head over to De Waterkant
for some of the best nightclubs, or just hang out in the Cape Quarter.

You can treat yourself to some world class food in Cape
